The world witnessed how Japan was badly devastated by a strong earthquake and the how that humongous tsunami killed a lot of people in their country. The world also witnessed how the Japanese managed the disaster and how fast they were able to get and move on with their lives. They are born hardworking and disciplined people and experiencing such disaster will not turn then down and live a miserable life. Instead, the disaster experienced will be used as a basis of inventing things for future use.

That’s how “Noah” came into reality. It’s their modern version of Noah’s Ark. A vessel that has long been popular for millions of people to have saved lives during a great flood. It wouldn’t be practical these days to park a huge vessel like the old Noah’s ark, that’s why Shoji Tanaka, the president of Cosmo Power, the company which manufactured the vessel, see to it that it will just fit in an average home.

At first he designed it like the ark but he realized it will capsize at strong winds. Tanaka then redesigned it into a perfect sphere made of enhanced fiberglass with a bright yellow color. It is a mini shelter that could house 4 adults and has survived many crash tests. The survival capsule has a small lookout window and breathing holes on topIt looks like a giant tennis ball.

“This is the only shelter that guarantees protection from any natural disaster,” said president Tanaka. His company already sold 600 capsules for for about $4,000 each.
